Trained in the realist tradition of fine art at both Southern Illinois University and The Atelier Neo-Medici in France, I am currently allowing my work a directionality intuitive in its inception and formulation.
The scope of my work has as a particular focus the sacred creative essence permeating and sustaining all form.

When I work, I work from emptiness toward spaciousness.
With my current work I am discovering it is vital that I leave space, within myself and likewise within the pieces; this spaciousness is the field through which the work can offer itself, to me, and ultimately to the viewer.
My creative process is simple, yet deeply experiential. The simplicity itself was a long time in coming. When it arrived I knew I had fallen into the elemental ease I had so intensely and unknowingly been seeking. I am now 'with' the work in a way that erases any division. This singleness births, with each piece, my ongoing engagement as life. This being so, the work is quite organic in its formation, never forced, never coerced. What I see exits and enters; the worlds of inner and outer connecting as a point of focus ... as a particular visual reflection. What is reflected is for the viewer to discern as their relating allows. My hope is that the viewer will allow the spaciousness to lead them toward the richness of emptiness.
